The biggest business-to-business (B2B) e-procurement group in the Philippines is BayanTrade.com, composed of seven large local companies engaged in manufacturing, banking, real estate, and insurance.

The implementation of the E-commerce Act in 2000 prompted the formation of many B2B sites in the Philippines. However, the majority of Filipino consumers are not yet comfortable with using these sites.
